Our group of 15forCannes appeared in the Friday 22June edition of the Lions Daily festival magazine. Now, it’s hard for me to comment without being a little bit too proud, so I think is better to quote the article from the magazine :
“ A group of Romanian university students are in Cannes not only to walk the Festival’s red carpet, but also to step into the shoes of the advertising industry. Selected from about 200 entrants, the students are participating in the Festival’s new student initiative, which offers young people from around the world the opportunity to enhance their education by participating in the Festival. “We are the first European country to sign up,” said Teodora Migdalovici, the Festival’s Romania representative.(…) The students are also key to the future of Romania, a former Communist state where creativity was stifled, according to Dragos Grigoriu, founder of the Bucharest-based independent agency Tempo Advertising, which sponsored the trip to Cannes. Grigoriu hopes that the students will help to make a difference to Romania’s future.”
So, I have only one thing to say : “A small step for the red carpet, a big step for Romania’s future advertisers”.
